    Like a lot of Doc fans, I read the Green Master when it came out in the last Doc Omnibus. I actually liked it, and the other two stories that capped the Doc run in the late 1940s. It’s a throw-back to the 1930s Doc Savage adventures with the usual adventure in a faraway land with a hint of mysticism and/or ESP. It’s a quite readable adventure and one not to disappoint . . . assuming the Doc fan has plowed through the strange Doc adventures of the three or four years preceeding the last three adventures.
