This story is almost retro ’30s. Doc fights his way out of a death trap like in the old days. Doc defeats multiple enemies in a hand to hand fight, just like the old days. Of course now the bad guys are the Soviets and not the Nazis. But the “evil plan” is plausible enough to be spooky. Only some confusion about Doc’s knowledge of Long Tom mars the story. This story is a little gem.
